Additionally, Rajasthan
Association of North America (RANA) was formed with the mission of
preserving and promoting Rajasthani culture, values, heritage and
traditions. RANA wants to instill these values in the current and
future generations by exposing them to our long and deeply rooted
values and heritage.
RANA's goal is to promote our rich culture by observing many traditional
festivals and organizing them in North America periodically. Through
all these, RANA will provide the necessary cultural platform for
our children who are residing in a land that is quite far from our
original motherland.
RANA upholds high values and expectations from our youth and believes
that with the western educational system and rajasthani values,
they can be a very productive part of our society yet maintaining
their roots.
Women are very important part of our society and RANA's goal is
to provide the necessary support in empowering our ladies to achieve
the best in their profession yet keeping their traditional role
of being dedicated housewife, mother, sister, etc.
RANA's goal is to also bring our society closer so we can share
the vast wealth of trandition and values together for our betterment.
